Eye Makeup Tips - Pre Shadow Application
First - Always moisturize your face and if you have some sort of nightly/daily eye cream ... use it!! Your face and your eyes are your canvas to work with when trying to apply any type of makeup, and the more dry your canvas is, the less smooth all your colors and applicators will work together.
Second - Apply some sort of primer to your eyes. This can either be a beige shade (I particular like MAC's Prep + Prime Eye) or even a slightly to heavy tinted paint. For me, I find that having a specific eye primer for the base of my eye shadow with a tinted paint or cream on top of that helps my eye shadow color lasts the longest. With the paints or creams, these can also help enhance the colors you use if you feel neutral primers are too plain. If you can only use 1 of these types of products, definitely go with a beige primer to help even out the color on your eye lid.
Third - Always use clean brushes. This doesn't matter if you had super old brushes or new brushes, but always use clean brushes. If you don't have a makeup brush cleaner, I recommend getting one now. As you use your brushes and shadow keeps caking on the bristles, you end up using more color that you need to try to get the pigment you used to love. Also, the more left over pigment that gets left on the brush and the more times you use the brush on your face, it's more likely you'll get bacteria build up from that ... and of course who wants gross bacteria shadow on your face. I don't that's for sure. I've used several different brush cleaners, but one I found works very well and lasts a long time is Bobbi Brown's Gel Cleanser. First it's a concentrated gel and only need to use a small amount, it lasts a long time, it's anti-bacterial and doesn't cost that much for how long it lasts.

However, Mirabella has recently come out with a 3-step line for the care, priming, and color for eyelashes. They are the Lash Therapy Conditioner, Lash Definition Primer, and the Lash Essential Mascara.
If you have any questions on those products, or how to use them, feel free to let me know.
About Me
Hi, I am a licensed cosmetologist who loves cutting and coloring hair, playing with makeup, and doing all sorts of beauty related things. I love what I do and enjoy introducing family, friends, people, others, etc to new products, styles and even new ways to do their own hair.
I choose only to use authentic, and quality products on myself, my clients, and recommend products to others depending on their lifestyle and needs. The Mirabella makeup brand is one of those products that I love using and recommend to anyone.
The main purpose of my online store (www.Makeup-BeautyOnline.com) is to help introduce this great makeup line to my current clients as well as any new clients or customers if they cannot get to their consultants.
As I come across beauty tips and techniques, or even unique things in the Cosmetology industry, I'll try to post them here for all to see.
